Non-destructive determination of detailed crystal structure of crystalline samples (molecular weight up to ~ 3000 g/mol; resolution < 1 Å). Especially useful in determination of solid state structures and intermolecular forces affecting the crystallization and crystal packing, polymorphism, solvates and co-crystals and solid state complexes.

Cu radiation is mainly for purely organic compounds and determination of absolute configuration of chiral compounds.

Mo radiation is also suitable for organometallic structures and metal complexes.

Equiped with Oxford Cryosystems liquid nitrogen cooling enabling data collection at low temperatures (down to ~ 100 K).
